Shannon Smith, M.A., is a primary therapist at Providence Eating Disorders Treatment Program. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and earned a master’s degree in counseling psychology from John F. Kennedy University. She also completed the course of study in spiritual direction at Mercy Center, Burlingame, Calif. Shannon has worked with individuals and taught groups seeking to normalize their eating patterns, as well as individuals and couples seeking counseling for a variety of issues.
