Patient Ratings and Comments
About Our Survey

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments. These comments are the views and opinions of patients and are not endorsed by or necessarily reflect the views of Providence.

I do become concern because this provider changed a medication and there has not been any follow to determine if the medication is compatible with me. I'm trying to tolerate the medicine, I'll give it a week and then I'll contact the provider. If the medication does not improve my blood pressure or If I cannottolerate the medication.

Dr. Riley was very professional and listened to my health concerns. He ordered an echocardiogram and a halter monitor to see what had caused my problem. He explained what to expect and why he was ordering them for me.

Dr. Riley is always willing to listen to my concerns and answer any questions I might have. I have sent email through Providence My Chart and I get a reply back within 24 hours. I really like that option.

DR Riley came into exam room told me I WAS going to the ER. I told him I was not. I had questions I wanted answered, he said he would not talk to me about anything, I needed to go to ER for tests and I WOULD be using contrast. I said NO as the CAT scan contrast had dropped my kidney function [...] I stated I was taking two blood pressure pills and he stated they were wrong for me and I should not be taking them.MY husband tried to ask questions and he ignored him. DR riley was VERY rude I picked up my stuff and my husband and I went out the exam room door and DR riley talked loudly about me going to ER in front of other patients and personnel. People, in waiting area also heard him saying words that were nom of their business

Do not feel my input was listened too or respected regarding medication increase. Dr. Riley is highly trained, knowledgeable cardiologist but I feel what I have to say isn't important or considered.

When you see a doctor it is because you are or have been, experiencing bad moments in your life. Those at this office made those moments better.

I was anxious for my results and was told it would take a couple days BUT when no one called I called & was told Riley went on vacation so give it 7-10 days additional - NOT patient friendly! Not what I was told - someone should fill in. Providence has lots of drs. - this is very poor & for a heart dr. very poor!
