Patient Ratings and Comments
About Our Survey

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments. These comments are the views and opinions of patients and are not endorsed by or necessarily reflect the views of Providence.

[...] this was one of the worse experiences I've ever had. I just moved here from Missouri and I think the way I was treated by the doctor and the lack of information that they gave me was poor.

very respectful was nice not feeling judged or out of place.

Always greets with a hand shake. Maintains direct eye contact when communicating. Always willing to work with various treatment options based on my direct needs.

On arrival I felt very comfortable with the office setting given my other experiences. However, When meeting the doctor I greeted her with a smile and said I took time to study her care for her patients and liked her videos online. She seemed happy to hear this but then provided a consistent stare like she had more to say. [...] When talking with the doctor and explaining my issues I feel she did not listen and with every complaint she did nothing but offer referrals to other specialist that I explained I don't have time to see given my work schedule. She referred me for EVERY SINGLE ISSUE I had. When it came to write my doctor note for work she asked me what to type..Isn't this why your a doctor? When She was done, she closed out of everything and I stopped her and said that I needed refills on my medication [...] When I told her this her face changed and said that that Providence had a policy on refilling medication on the first visit and that I would have to wait 4 weeks and come back to discuss a change and at that point we need to see if there are any other options as she didn't want to prescribe it to me, as there are dangers for liver in this drug. This is were I got upset and was at the bridge of tears because not only did I feel I was not heard, but she referred all my care to other doctors and then refused to fill my current medications or change my muscle relaxer that was at a dangerously high dose to something that is working for me. I explained to her that I was frustrated because I feel she is not understanding what I have explained to her and why I needed a change in medication. I told her that I have been on every single muscle relaxant she can think of and my body either rejected it or didn't take to it so this is why I was on [...] and now my body is to tolerant to it after having it for years and needed to change to an effective medication. She then said "I understand, follow up in 4 weeks and we can discuss your options". This is when I told her that I am not going to argue with her as she is the doctor but that I needed her to understand how I felt. When I left I was beside myself and walked out to my car and cried for a min or two while calling my spouse to explain what just took place. In pain I drove home. I then tried to refill my medication from home even though she said she would not do it. And long and behold they got refilled.....However, my [...] was not changed and was refilled. I am currently up in the air if I should return to see this doctor. I do want to state she ran no labs on me as it was to late and the only lab she wanted to run given my explanation of issues was a Vitamin D check.

Dr. Nakhai was sweet, attentive, listened carefully, asked good questions for clarification, and didn't seem quick to judge. My only feedback would be that she seemed quiet and a bit shy. I am an anxious person, so that had me feeling a little off. Her reaction to finding a lump on my thyroid also had me concerned, probably moreso than I needed to be. I still haven't heard about the results of my ultrasound for that finding. And though I did get an emailing giving me access to the results of my blood tests, since I'm not a medical professional, I don't know what they mean. Overall, my experience was good and I look forward to getting to know Dr. Nakhai better over time.

Provider didn't look over questionaire I filled out in waiting room, wish that more time was spent & more suggestions offered around my concerns

The receptionist was friendly and joked with me while signing in. My doctor offered me tissues when I was on the verge of crying and took my worries into consideration when deciding what course of action to follow.

trying to find doc that's a fit. I like that she actually "laid hands" on me. I find annual physicals are not really physicals--I believe that actually palpating a patient is important (it also builds trust). I am proactive about my care--she did a good job listening.

I have had nothing but good experiences with all the care providers I have seen at Providence. Everyone who works there is super nice.

Very professional, thorough, and pleasant.

I chose this care provider because my main doc (Dr [...]) is often unavailable. I really like Dr [...], but I don't like how hard it is to see her. I have been requesting Dr Nakhai because I can get it. I like her. I got a referral. It was not to the place I wanted. I 'm going to try it out and see if it works for me.

She listened to my concerns and answered all my questions. Seemed to respect me.

May ask her to be my 15 year old daughter's doctor.

great doctor and great staff

Dr. Nakhai did not have my medical records so she wasn't able to discuss my medical history. But she did a good job discussing my current problems.
