Patient Ratings and Comments
About Our Survey

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments. These comments are the views and opinions of patients and are not endorsed by or necessarily reflect the views of Providence.

Dr. Morgan saw me in a specialty care situation for surgery. He takes time and explains things well. He is easy to talk to. [...]

Dr Morgan, Shawn (if I may), I found your style and manor to be refreshing, cordial, intelligent, upbeat and personable - all while managing and maintaining a most Professional decorum. BRAVO! I'd ask only that should you again have the opportunity to work with an attractive and confident trans woman that you'll please broaden your already praiseworthy depth of character to correctly parse as well as then apply an appropriate gender tense. I do compliment that you're more aware and and ahead of the curve than most!

Dr. Morgan provided detailed, complete explanations & recommendations.

Easy to talk to.

Dr. Morgan was very nice answered all my questions good.

I appreciate that I was able to obtain my pain medication prescription the day before having my procedure. I believe patient comfort is top priority at this office.

I was very please to have had Dr Morgan as my doctor for my hospital stay and followup appointment. He listened to me, was aware of other health conditions and explained in a clear way what would be done and set expectations of the results.

Dr. Morgan always makes time for me whenever I need it. I feel that he truly cares about my wellbeing.

Dr. Shawn M. Morgan was truly awesome, you're lucky to have him as a provider. I don't believe I could have had a better provider than him for this surgery. He was spot on from beginning to the end. We call him Dr. Awesome...

Shawn failed to look at my chart before I arrived and came into the room dismissingames my concern as not a big deal. it was about 5 or 10 minutes in that I asked if he'd even looked at my mri and ultrasound, to which he said no. he has [...] trouble maintain eye contact, plus I found him rude and dismissive. I absolutely would not see him for .you provedure, nor would I recommend him to anyone. [...] in his opinion my lump was too small to be worrisome, which he told me time and time again, but because he didn't look at my chart didn't realize that it causes me headaches that are relieved when I press on it. He did seem to feel bad when I expressed that he was being dismissive and once he realized it causes me problems. Probably my worst doctors appointment ever.

[...] he took time to explain what was done and what to expect. At all times, I felt reassured, confident that I was in the hands of a caring professional, and one renowned for fixing this particular condition.

This doctor is slow to "go to surgery" he considers alternatives. He is professional, friendly and never acts like he's in a hurry. Allows me to ask questions; he is honest, not "pushy" and concerned.

Dr. Morgan tells you straight up how it is. I like the fact he gives you all the information available.

Dr.Morgan is a great medical provider. I would recommend him to anyone. Very laid back and easy to talk too.

Wish provider had looked at me while we were talking. Wish provider would have provided reassurance. Provider seemed rushed or had other things on mind.

This was an initial appt so my experience is limited but so far so good. I just hope I can get a good treatment plan.

He did not rush the appointment. Answered all qusetions - was personable.

This Dr was very sensitive to my situation & very compassionate. He took time to listen.
