Biography & Education


Laurel is the regional director of Perinatal Services for Oregon Women and Children’s Services at Providence Health & Services. Her clinical background is in nursing, and she received her Bachelor of Science in nursing and Master of Public Health from Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, Ore. Laurel has passion for strong patient/family engagement, quality improvement, high reliability and promoting wellness. She works closely with internal and external stakeholders, from diverse clinical and industry backgrounds, to create and align a vision for care that ensures women and their children have an excellent experience as they receive safe and reliable care.

Laurel earned her undergraduate degree in nursing, and continued her education by earning a Masters degree in public health and community health nursing from Oregon Health & Science University.
