Biography & Education


Dr. Durham is board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology (AP/CP) and a Diplomat of the American Board of Dermatopathology, board certified in dermatopathology.

Dr. Durham graduated from Oberlin College prior to attending University of Missouri-Columbia Medical School in Columbia, Mo. He completed a medical internship at the State University New York – Buffalo before completing his AP/PC pathology residency at the University of Missouri – Columbia. He served on the pathology medical staff at The University of Missouri – Columbia  as the Director of Anatomic Pathology at the University of Missouri Hospital – Columbia with the academic title of Associate Professor of Pathology.

He followed his 10-year academic practice with an 11-year private practice in Kansas City, Mo.

In 2001, he successfully completed a dermatopathology fellowship with A. Bernard Ackerman, M.D. , at the  Ackerman Academy and Columbia University, N.Y.

From 2003 to 2014, Dr. Durham served as the Regional Medical Director for Pathology and Laboratories, Providence Health & Services, Oregon and maintained an active AP/CP pathology practice while also subspecializing in dermatopathology.
