Patient Ratings and Comments
About Our Survey

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments. These comments are the views and opinions of patients and are not endorsed by or necessarily reflect the views of Providence.

I am concerned about my last blood pressure when I went in to get my cortisone shot. the shot did not help and doctors hadn't called to see if it did. also my thyroid was pretty low how low does it have to be to require medication?

I have only seen Dr Bautista a couple of times but have seen [...] when she isn't available. they are both very nice. I don't know who [...] is but she is usually the one who calls and follows up with me on test results etc. She is so kind, caring and responsive to all questions. I feel that she is a HUGE asset to Providence!

I have not found Dr. Bautista to excel in explaining things. When I ask her questions, I feel that it is challenging to understand exactly where she is coming from in her responses. I enjoy Providence as a whole, and I don't feel Dr. Bautista to be a bad provider at all. She is just challenging to understand in her explanations.

Communication was shaky. The provider noticed and commented on a list of questions that I had, but did not allow me time to ask these questions before moving on to her next patient. It was confusing and frustrating. It was my first visit with her, and I had hoped for more.

I waited a long time to see the Dr. and then I felt very rushed and was not able to ask all my questions. I am still waiting for the referrals. I need to have my blood pressure checked next week so I plan to ask about the additional information that has not been sent yet.

Not good email communication with regard to follow up on prescription. [...] Communication with the doctors and nursing staff went unanswered and in a follow up call, I was treated as if I was the problem. I would still recommend this hospital, but I would suggest adding questions regarding follow up communications on prescriptions and timely email responses to this questionnaire.

[...] I was not happy with the provider care, sympathy, compassion, what ever that I need. Just had divulged something painful and big trauma. Got very from her and put my record that I comment that had a history of depression. I do not have a history of such [...] i can't remember what exact words she chose but I did't feel is was appropriate. I I guess I just didn't feel comfortable, or maybe I didn't connect with her??? I can't describe it.

Dr. is always have me do STD tests even when I tell her I do not want the test. There is no reason to do them, I have one sex partnet and married. It raises costs of the visit and it's offending to me and my husband.

Providence health care providers truly don't seem to care about their patients' concerns. It is the most detached bunch of professionals I've ever encountered and I've lived in KY, ME and FL.

I waited for an hour beyond my appointment time to see the doctor for 5 minutes and was told she couldn't help with the skin tag removal. This appointment was a complete waste of my time and money and the doctor wasn't an especially likeable individual.

I have had problems getting a neurologist that works after 2.30 pm. I have to take time off work if I need to see them and therefore have had to revert back to my primary care doctor for prescriptions. I think this is pretty poor.

Dr. Bautista seems to be a very concientious and thorough doctor. She is good at answering my questions, explaining why we need to do what we do and, in this case with the uti, got across the importance of the treatment for a bacteria that was very resistant to treatment. I feel she keeps up to date with the latest medical information and she explains things when I ask questions. I also email through My Chart and she always gets back to me. If it is urgent, she will call.

I have already referred two family members to her she is wonderful, caring, honest, doctor. I was her patient before she was at Providence I had to wait a year to be able for her to take me as a new patient she's a wonderful person.
