Providence Stroke Center
At the Providence Stroke Center, we care for more stroke patients than any other hospital system in Oregon – but it’s the quality of our care that really counts. Over a decade ago, Providence was the first in the state to receive national recognition as a Primary Stroke Center.
Today, Providence has four Primary Stroke Centers in Oregon, plus a Comprehensive Stroke Center at St. Vincent Medical Center, where we deliver the highest level of care for the most complex stroke patients. We also work collaboratively with hospitals throughout Oregon and southern Washington through our Telestroke Network, enabling local providers to connect with our stroke experts and helping more families receive great care in their own communities.
Our stroke care is accessible, comprehensive, and state-of-the-art. Our stroke education and clinical research trials are nationally recognized, as are our patient outcomes. And our interdisciplinary team of experts from vascular neurologists to neurointerventionalists to rehab therapists is committed to the best possible care at every stage of stroke.
