Our registered and licensed dietitians can help you whether your goal is to treat a health condition, lower your risk of disease, manage your weight or eat wisely while maintaining a busy lifestyle.

A private, one-on-one nutrition consultation starts with a nutrition assessment. We evaluate your activity, eating behavior, and medical and dietary histories to create a plan for you.

You will receive scientifically based advice, realistic recommendations, and up-to-date nutritional information that will allow for long-lasting results. Working with the dietitian, you will set goals and decided on next steps.

Insurance coverage
Clients may self-refer, or appointments may be made upon referral from a physician. Many insurance plans provide coverage for medical nutrition therapy. Before scheduling your appointment, please check with your health insurance for benefits or if prior approval is needed. Clients may also self pay.

Providence also offers classes in weight management, fitness and diabetes. For information on these groups, call Providence Resource Line at 503-216-7969 or 1-800-562-8964 or view our online schedule of health and fitness classes.
