Homeless persons with serious illness face unique challenges. In this lecture, we will review existing literature related to caring for this population and explore different models that enable high-quality palliative care for homeless individuals. Through the lens of real patients' stories, attendees will learn best practices in palliative care for homeless persons and will be given practical tools to improve the care they provide to these patients.
