Providence Brain and Spine Institute
Providence Brain and Spine Institute is a comprehensive clinical program that treats all conditions of the brain, spine and nervous system. Our recognized specialists work together as a team to provide patients with advanced medical expertise and compassionate care.
Given recent expansion in key areas such as stroke, neurosurgery, ALS, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, physiatry, and movement disorders, patients (throughout Oregon and southwest Washington) have greater access to care.
These specialists use the latest diagnostics, treatments and surgical procedures and have access to world-class technologies. Providence Brain and Spine Institute installed the most advanced intraoperative MRI suite on the West Coast and recently expanded its acute stroke services to 19 hospitals in Oregon and Washington through a telestroke network.
Researchers at the institute are evaluating the treatments of the future with clinical trials and research in ALS, brain tumor, dementia, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, neurosurgery, stroke, and more. Through clinical trials, patients have access to new drugs and procedures that may improve their care and quality of life.
