Medical surveillance physical examination
Also known as:
Medical surveillance evaluations include periodic testing of employees who may be exposed to potentially hazardous materials or other risks in the workplace. Medical surveillance evaluations test for exposure to potentially hazardous materials, such as benzene, lead, cadmium, heavy metals and asbestos, as well as test for hearing loss and lung function.
Workplace Health Services designs a medical surveillance evaluation based on an employer’s specific needs to keep employees healthy and meet OSHA guidelines.
