Initiative background, overview & goals

ChildStandingwithDandylionsHelp Me Grow (HMG) is a national model that builds a system of collaboration and coordination across early childhood and health sectors to assure that children at risk for developmental delay are identified and receive the services they need. Rather than providing direct services, Help Me Grow focuses on enhancing existing services and resources for children 0 – 5 years. The goals of HMG are to improve child health and developmental outcomes by strengthening links between children’s health and early learning systems and creating a model for screening and referral that is consistent, robust and replicable.
