Rebels awarded Billi Odegaard Public Health Genius Award 2015

Rebel leaders accepted the Oregon Public Health Institute Billi Odegaard Genius Award on October 9, 2015 at a luncheon ceremony. They were awarded $1000 for their commitment to supporting healthy individuals and communities. Rebels are high school students from the Schellenberg, Madison, and Beaverton health occupations programs who educate their peers and middle school students about the dangers of tobacco. They have put in a tremendous amount of time and effort to develop creative and innovative strategies for reaching their audience.
