Providence Elderplace expands to Beaverton with new health and social center

September 05, 2013
Providence ElderPlace is expanding its services to Washington County.  The new facility in Beaverton is Providence ElderPlace’s eighth location, and the first outside of Multnomah County. The health and social center opened Sept. 1.

Providence ElderPlace provides medical and social services to help keep frail, older individuals out of nursing homes and living in their community. Providence ElderPlace is a comprehensive care program that offers health, housing, social service and care coordination solutions to older adults and peace of mind to their families. Providence ElderPlace serves individuals living in their own homes, with family members, or in contracted housing.

“Providence is dedicated to meeting the needs of the community,” said Ellen Garcia, director, Providence ElderPlace. “We are thrilled to be expanding into Washington County, where we will offer top-quality care to seniors in a compassionate environment.”

The newest location at 14255 S.W. Brigadoon Court is also part of a partnership with LifeWorks NW. LifeWorks NW supports children, teens and families who are working toward a better life. Their expert team offers individual and group treatment through recognized, culturally responsive prevention, mental health and addiction services. At Providence ElderPlace Beaverton, they will help provide activities and meals.

Providence ElderPlace is currently taking referrals for services through the new Beaverton location. For questions or to make a referral, please call the main office at 503-215-6556.
