How parents can talk to children about a cancer diagnosis

Krista Nelson, oncology patient advocate at Providence Cancer Center, recently spoke with The Oregonian's parenting blog, the Omamas, about how to talk to your kids about a cancer diagnosis. Krista was quoted throughout the story, advising parents to use medical language when talking with their kids about a cancer diagnosis and to not worry about crying when sharing the diagnosis with them.
