Patients and Visitors

Visitors can be good medicine for patients. Family members and friends are welcome to visit, as long as having visitors helps the patient feel better and doesn’t disturb other patients. Daily visiting hours at Providence Milwaukie Hospital end at 8:30 p.m. However, you may check with a nurse if you wish to make special arrangements.

Out-of-Town Visitors

Whether you're away from home for your own medical treatment, or need to be near someone who is ill, Providence Milwaukie Hospital can refer you to a nearby lodging facility that offers a discounted rate. When calling any of the these hotels or motels, please mention that you or a family member are receiving care at the hospital.

Waiting Areas

Specially designated waiting areas for visitors are located in the main lobby, in the emergency area and outside surgery. On the second level a waiting area is located near the intensive care unit and the medical/surgical unit. Reading materials are provided in the waiting areas. If you have questions while waiting, stop by the front desk located in the main lobby.
