We diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries that do not require hospitalization, including:

  • Abdominal pain
  • Coughs, colds and flu
  • Dehydration
  • Diarrhea, nausea, vomiting
  • Dizziness
  • Foreign body removal
  • Fractures
  • Lacerations (stitches)
  • Migraines
  • Respiratory problems
  • Rashes and skin problems
  • Sexually transmitted diseases (STDs)

If you are experiencing a life-threatening injury or illness, call 911 immediately or visit the nearest hospital emergency room.

Patients under four months of age may be seen at Providence Medical Group-Gateway Immediate Care and Providence Medical Group-Tanasbourne Immediate Care or the Children’s Emergency Room at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center.

Immediate care does not provide routine immunizations or narcotic medication refills. Patients suffering from accidental poisonings, behavioral health or chemical dependency issues, or those who are victims of a crime, should go to a hospital emergency department.

Providence Medical Group accepts most health insurance plans. Please contact your insurance carrier to confirm coverage.
