Biography & Education

The physical-appearance changes that can occur as a result of a breast cancer diagnosis are often disturbing to those who are experiencing it. At Transitions, an Appearance Center, we try to ease anxiety regarding these changes in a safe, compassionate environment where a client’s appearance needs can be met in a conveniently located facility.

Zellers is a survivor who says she has had many positive life changes as a result of experiencing breast cancer.  One of those has been to become a certified mastectomy fitter, which resulted in an emotionally rewarding career change. Her degrees in education, biology and accounting, combined with advanced training in mastectomy and lymphedema fitting, have all contributed to her understanding of steps to help ease the experience of breast cancer, especially in the area of appearance. Her goal is to help women regain a positive self-image during and following breast cancer, and to have them leave Transitions feeling comfortable, confident and smiling.
