In her practice as a physician assistant, Daisy Xu, PA-C, helps her patients care for themselves by educating them about all aspects of their health. She attaches much importance to the establishment of a caring and trusting relationship with patients. "I enjoy developing long-term professional relationships with my patients and their families," she said. "There is nothing more rewarding than being able to work with and help your friends and neighbors." In an increasingly complex medical world, she always strives to be a better provider.
Daisy completed a Bachelor of Medicine degree at Wuhan University in China and earned her Master of Medical Science in physician assistant studies from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, N.C. In addition, she has a Ph.D. degree in molecular biology. Daisy is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
In her free time, Daisy volunteers at Southwest Community Health Center, providing free medical care to underserved populations. She also enjoys reading, cooking, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends. In addition to English, Daisy is fluent in Mandarin.
