My decision to enter the field of women's health care came from a desire to acquire more knowledge about my own health and the need to understand the health care issues that affected my own life.
I try to emphasize my patient's strengths, insights and abilities so she can achieve good health as well as empower her to be the leader of her own healthcare team.
My central philosophy of care involves recognizing each patient's essential dignity and the importance of conveying the respect each patient deserves, in every aspect of their care.
My hobbies include reading, hiking, biking and old-time banjo playing. I enjoy spending time with my partner Lindsey, my brother Tony, four doggies and one kitty. I have traveled and volunteered in several other countries and very much enjoy speaking Spanish.
