About Our Survey

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments.

Overall experience was excellent from front office people, the doctor - all excellent exceeding my expectations. The only opportunity for improvement was the medical assistant assisting the doctor. Her attitude was a bit condescending, she has an opportunity to show more respect for the patients.

I appreciated that Dr. White took plenty of time to have a discussion about my health concerns as I went through each one. At no point did the exam feel hurried and having the blood draw happen at the end of the exam was very convenient with almost no delay.

[...] it took me about three weeks to get an appointment. If I have to wait this long fur future appointments, I may look for another doctor to be my primary care provider.

This was the firt time I have seen this provider. I had made an appointment with the Dr. I see regularly (Dr. [...]) but she called in sick. I was called and given the chance to re-schedule or see Dr. White that day. [...] I thought best that I see a Dr. that day. I am glad I did and met Dr. White. He was attentive, pleasant, well informed about my medical history, paid attention to symtoms I was having and that I thought very worrysome, and concerns about a couple of my medicines; he changed the dose for each prscription. Also, he said he would call my cardiologist and consult with him about the changes. Lastly, the nurse was very attentive and professional.

Doc White has helped make sure I am not nutritionally deficient since I've begun a plant-based diet. He's ordered tests so that I am not deficient in iron or vitamin B-12 and has answered email questions within a day or two.

I was in severe pain by the time I got in to see this provider. It is very difficult to get in when you have an urgent issue. The schedulers seem to have no empathy for your distress or need. There should be a prioritization process or a referral to another doctor in the system who could have seen me sooner.

Very good experience overall. I would appreciate more understanding and appreciation for alternatives to prescription medication, especially statins. I do not like the fact that the medical community has taken a more hands-off approach. While not pleasant for doctor or patient, prostate and hernia exams are important to me. [...]

He reads the information about my health issues that I provide him at the beginning of our session. He then reviews each of the issues with me . He reviews what we discussed at the end of our session and then reads to me as he types it the summary so that I understand it. If necessary he clarifies if I ask questions or need more information.
