Patient Ratings and Comments
About Our Survey

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments. These comments are the views and opinions of patients and are not endorsed by or necessarily reflect the views of Providence.

Dr. White is one of the most caring and knowledgeable I have had the pleasure of dealing with. He has helped me with any and all questions, plus provided valuable suggestions to deal with my age and weight.

Dr. White is by far one of the best "providers" I have had and I'm 70 years old.

Everything was great, except I had to wait in the exam room for over 30 mins. to see the doctor.

there was a lack of communication between me, doctor whites office, and the pain clinic I was referred too. i was told people would be calling me when I had to push the issue with phone calls to find out what was going on. I am a sole income father that needs to get back to work ASAP.

Dr White provided me with essential information about what I need to do to continue healing from an injury and what I should avoid doing. He also gave me a realistic time scale for healing, which helps me plan for the future.

I'd like to have been abvle to discuss statin drugs and side effects with Dr. White. From my research, it appears side effects are too many to interest me--and I do not wish to acquire diabetes as did my brother as a result of statins.

Recommended to come back at a separate appointment for a "10 minute" discussion about anther issue. So this requires a new appointment, additional cost, travel time, visit time and out of my office time. For 10 minutes when i was already there. Addition cost is the smallest issue, it is the time and hassle that is the challenge for most people.

I feel that I have an entire team working for me at the clinic. My primary care as well as my husband's is through there, my OB, and now my son's pediatric care is all managed by this integrated team. It's great how my primary manages my health through the Providence system and keeps an eye on things even when not in her hands.

A mystery allergy that didn't show up on a skin test was a tricky one to spot. With all the complaints I had and very little evidence to go on, and all the tests I asked for, Dr. White listened and understood my seriousness to get to the bottom of the issue. He always has calm patience and a good bed-side manner.

We have come to Providence from another clinic that seems to focus on how to make money rather than how to provide quality care. All we can say is WOW! Care id the best for all.

Doctor seemed to have either fair patient interaction skills, was having on off day, or had other things on his mind, which made me feel I was just a number he knew the problem and answer, and did not seem to listen carefully to what I was telling him.

Overall experience was excellent from front office people, the doctor - all excellent exceeding my expectations. The only opportunity for improvement was the medical assistant assisting the doctor. Her attitude was a bit condescending, she has an opportunity to show more respect for the patients.

I appreciated that Dr. White took plenty of time to have a discussion about my health concerns as I went through each one. At no point did the exam feel hurried and having the blood draw happen at the end of the exam was very convenient with almost no delay.
