Dr. Alice Weston chose to become a family physician because of the extended relationships that flourish between primary care doctors and their patients. “I enjoy the opportunity to get to know my patients and help them live healthier lives,” she says. “I often feel that patients teach me as much as I teach them.”
Dr. Weston’s philosophy of care encompasses the medical saying “to cure sometimes, to relieve often, to comfort always.” She believes this philosophy is particularly important in providing primary care over many years. In her practice, she emphasizes listening to the patient, integrity,
patient safety and professionalism.
She received her medical degree from New York Medical College, Valhalla, and is serving in the Providence Milwaukie Hospital Family Medicine Residency.
In her free time, Dr. Weston enjoys gardening, travel, volunteer work, playing chess, kayaking, and spending time with family.
