Stephanie Warye's fascination with the process of disease, diagnosis and treatment inspired her to become a physician assistant. She believes her most important role as a health care provider is to guide patients and help them achieve a healthy lifestyle.
"I emphasize to patients that they need to take an active role in their health and preventive care," she says. ""I like to start with the basics - diet, exercise and prevention. We can build from there."
Stephanie earned her Bachelor of Science degree in medical studies and her Master of Science degree in physician assistant studies from King's College in Wilkes-Barre, Penn. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
Stephanie was born in upstate New York. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, painting, sewing, and spending time with her husband and two dogs.
