Becoming a physician in the Canby community was an easy decision for Amanda Warren, M.D., because it gave her the opportunity to help support healthy families in her own hometown. "My most important role is to council my patients about making choices that help them lead healthy, productive lives," said Dr. Warren.
In her practice, Dr. Warren emphasizes the need for preventive care and encourages her patients to take an active role in their health issues. "Patients have an important role in making their personal health care decisions," she says.
After receiving her medical degree from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, Dr. Warren completed her internship and residency at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, Wash. Dr. Warren is board certified in family medicine.
Dr. Warren was born in Corvallis, Ore., and graduated from Canby High School, where her three children now attend. In her free time, Dr. Warren enjoys cooking, paddle-boarding and spending time with her family and dog, Kona.
