A cancer diagnosis can bring waves of uncertainty and difficult circumstances not only to the person with cancer, but to those who care about them. A’lee’s goal is to help those facing cancer find ways to adjust and get the information and supports they need to manage during stressful times.
A’lee has worked for 14 years in the field of medical social work, beginning with her training in 1996 on Providence’s inpatient oncology unit. She has been part of the Providence Cancer Support team since 2007. She has worked with individuals with many different types of cancer and has a special interest in the treatment of gastrointestinal cancers. She is available to help you seek additional emotional or practical support.
