Biography
Dr. Stephen Vogt was born in Michigan and raised in Vermont. He completed undergraduate studies and received a medical degree from the University of Vermont. He completed his internal medicine residency at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, Oregon, where he became chief resident. In 2000, Dr. Vogt came to Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital as an internal medicine physician, specializing in the medical care of adults. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Dr. Vogt lives in Hood River with his wife, Christine, and their two dogs and two cats. He likes the quality of life a small town provides and takes advantage of the sporting opportunities available. He enjoys windsurfing, biking and running.

Dr. Vogt is very busy yet managed to fit me in when I needed it. Even though very busy, he always takes whatever time I need to explain my problems and to thoroughly address them. He never acts rushed or distracted. He is caring and professional in his demeanor and treats me as an active partner in my health care.
