About Our Survey

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments.

Most of my visit were good experience with my care provider. However, there were a few time that he would quickly asked a few questions, highlight some of my e blood results, & we would shake hands and both leave within 30 minutes of my visit(s). He seem a bit in a hurry & had other things in his mind; but, I never felt that I needed anything more medical information regarding my health during those short period of visits. If I did needed additional information, he would stop talking, listen, & make recommendations.

The only bad experience has been with the receptionist. She is technically competent, but lacks warmth or empathy with clients. I have gotten this impression more than once. Everyone else seems to be both competent and empathetic.

Dr Vogt is an excellent physician and provides caring and very competent care. [...] There is invariably a lengthy wait before phone calls are answered. [...] Recently I have experienced a rather challenging prescription refill issue requiring extra efforts to persuade my insurer to cover a medication not on its formulary. Dr Vogt has responded effectively but support staff efforts might have been better coordinated in seeing things through. In fairness, I have otherwise found support staff to be supportive and professional,
