Personal Statement: There are so many great reasons why I joined PSVMC. If I had to choose one, it would be the people here - ranging from my colleagues and the housestaff, to the medical and support staff. It's hard to leave my girls each morning, but I can't think of a more pleasant place to go to work.

Areas of Academic/Clinical Focus:
Evidence based medicine
Technology in Medical Education

Personal Interests: I have far too many interests outside of medicine, though currently, most of my time is spent with my two lovely attention craving daughters. First and foremost, I'm a sports fanatic, especially Pac-10 football, NBA, and NFL. I'm also a tech junkie and love to accumulate gadgets. My main hobby is photography which I try to incorporate into my daily life. As much as my family can tolerate it, I grill and BBQ rain or shine.

About Our Survey

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments.

Conversations with Dr. Tran are always helpful and to the point.

Dr Tran is fantastic. However, it is hard to get in, in a timely fashion, so I usually go to an urgent care. And the wait in the office was over 15 minutes before I got in to see the Dr.

Listened carefully and made sure pharmacist followed up.

Dr Tran is the best Doctor a person could have.

Dr. Tran is patient and kind.

My visit with Dr. Tran was the best visit I've had....he opened the computer file, then turned to face me and made eye contact. He asked what I was concerned about, and then listened, adding questions of clarification. Then he responded to my three main concerns, one by one. The next day, I felt a sense of relief about my concerns.

Dr. Tran has an amazing skill in relating to patients. His use of words, body language, and demeanor allows me to feel comfortable, secure and at ease. He is terrific. Period
