Personal Statement: There are so many great reasons why I joined PSVMC. If I had to choose one, it would be the people here - ranging from my colleagues and the housestaff, to the medical and support staff. It's hard to leave my girls each morning, but I can't think of a more pleasant place to go to work.

Personal Interests: I have far too many interests outside of medicine, though currently, most of my time is spent with my two lovely attention craving daughters. About Our Survey

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments.

Dr. Tran is patient and kind.
Providence Health & Services Patient

My visit with Dr. Tran was the best visit I've had....he opened the computer file, then turned to face me and made eye contact. He asked what I was concerned about, and then listened, adding questions of clarification. Then he responded to my three main concerns, one by one. The next day, I felt a sense of relief about my concerns.
Providence Health & Services Patient

Excellent listening skills. Knowledgeable, relaxed
Providence Health & Services Patient

To be fair, I mistook the day of my appointment and came in early so the receptionist fit me in even though I said I was willing to come back for the scheduled time. I was in a lot of pain so I appreciated that she asked Dr. Tran to see me. He told me to do the same things that he recommended 6 months ago which have not been helping, that is why I am back. I am not drug seeking. I left feeling frustrated and more depressed about the likelihood of getting help with my neck and headache pain.
Providence Health & Services Patient

Dr Tran was very nice and listened to me about the virus. He saw me the day I called and my regular doctor was away. I appreciated his care.

Providence Health & Services Patient

Everyone involved was sensitive, caring, knowledgeable and helpful. Very impressive!
Providence Health & Services Patient

I am extremely pleased with the care that Dr. Tran gives. He is courteous and thoughtful in our conversations. He changed a medication that I had been taking, for 6 years, on my first visit with him and it actually changed my life.
Providence Health & Services Patient

My relationship with Dr. Tran digressed a little on this visit when he chose not to listen/believe my sound and adept observation of my condition, and pursued invalid solutions to my condition. Hopefully, his choice of a medication replacement proves out to have been the right direction
