About Our Survey

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments.

I felt he judged my use of alternative medicine and he judged my choice to refuse certain diagnostic tests and that makes me not want to ever go back to him. he seems like a nice person, just dismissive to my choices.

I appreciate the staff keeping us aware in the waiting room that there was an unavoidable delay; when I got into the dr. he was able to spend an appropriate amount of time, I did not feel rushed

I appreciate that Dr. Thompson listens carefully, and seems to be fully present and focused during appointments. He asks questions about lifestyle and context, addressing the whole person, not just a set of symptoms. I feel that he really cares about his work and his patients. He has always recommended the least invasive treatment that he believes will be effective. He also never talks down to me-- I feel very respected whenever I have appointments with him.

Dr Thompson was available to see me 2 weeks sooner than my own Dr [...], so, even though I didn't get in for 4 days after the injury, I'm so thankful I didn't have to wait for those 2 more weeks!

My appointment was at 11:00. I arrived at 11:02. I was not taken back to an exam room for another 10-15 minutes and had to wait until 11:45 because the doctor took a walk in at 11 because I WAS LATE. I don't think that I was "late" arriving 2 minutes past my appointment time, but the lag time between when I checked in and when I was taken back to the exam room could have made him think I was late. I felt I got blamed for being late when in fact it was staff delay that caused me to not be put in an exam room immediately.

The people in this office have all been great. I was forced to change providers 2.5 years ago when my previous Internist left the practice. In hindsight I was lucky. This office is friendlier, faster and more professional. If I had known, I would have moved sooner.
