Patient Ratings and Comments
About Our Survey

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments. These comments are the views and opinions of patients and are not endorsed by or necessarily reflect the views of Providence.

Dr. Tam was very polite and gave me what I felt were solid facts. In discussing a diet change, she was familiar with what I was trying to accomplish, and felt that it was a good change for me to make, given my health. I've had other doctors who did not see the change as a viable option.

The young man who took my vitals and did the EKG was not personable, but he did the job he was supposed to do.

The only way I was able to get a quick appointment was to have my PCP call.

I thought Dr. Tam was top-notch. The same is not true of the support staff. I found them to be acceptable but a far cry from I consider appropriate.

This was a first visit with this doctor. Everything about the visit was positive. She understood and had read my previous history, was detail oriented and well organized and did not rush our appointment. She seemed like a very dedicated and caring doctor. I would recommend her and have already spoken to others of my good experience.
