Biography
Jeremy Swindle, M.D., made the decision to become a physician based, in part, on his experiences with the physicians he knew when he was younger. “The physicians I knew while growing up were kind and thoughtful people, and I wanted to be like them,” he says.

Dr. Swindle earned his medical degree from Tulane University’s School of Medicine in New Orleans, and completed his residency in family medicine at the University of Missouri – Columbia. He enjoys caring for people of every age and has an interest in geriatrics.

Born in Provo, Utah, Dr. Swindle is married and has two children. Away from his medical practice, he enjoys pottery and gardening. He also speaks French.

About Our Survey

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments.

I usually see [...] and love her. I was ill and had to see Dr. Swindle as a default option. I was very ill with fever, [...] and discomfort. 1st the MA took me to the wrong physician exam room and had the wrong chart. once that was straightened out I was moved to Dr. Swindles exam room. he came right in, did not say much, did listen to my chest and checked my throat and said well I guess we can do a chest X-ray. [...]. I felt Dr. Swindle was disinterested in my illness...most likely because he was seeing many similar patients. [...] it always falls back to "did the patient feel the provider listened to their concerns?". No, I did not feel he listened and heard my concerns.

The biggest factor in determining an unfavorable result would be the wait time in the lobby to get to go see the doctor. Another factor is the fact that I go in for a biweekly shot that is a 5 minute procedure and usually have to wait 15 to 30 minutes to get in

I feel comfortable with this care provider. He seems to be on top of all options for my health care. He just started me on a different medication for my elevated blood pressure, and offered several options for indigestion .

For my last visit, I requested an annual physical but it was not very thorough. I didn't even get a blood test. Perhaps it was a miscommunication. I brought an insurance paper that the doctor needed to fill out and he did that.

Since this was my initial visit, Dr. Swindle carefully reviewed my health questionaire, asked good questions regarding several of my past problems, and listened carefully and answered fully and thoughtfully to my questions. It was a very positive first visit.

No one followed up with me about my lab results because I haven't been to the lab for the test yet. Dr. Swindle is the best primary physician I have ever had and I will likely follow him wherever he decides to practice.
