I am an Oregon native, growing up in inner-southeast Portland. I came to midwifery after training as a doula in my early 20s and getting hooked on pregnancy and childbirth.
Prior to becoming a midwife, I worked with a certified nurse midwife in her home birth practice in Los Angeles, assisting at births and office visits. I love helping families grow and guiding them in decision making during this special time. Additionally, I am particularly interested in family planning.
In July 2013, I became a mother to a son, giving birth with Wendy Berger, CNM, as my midwife at Providence Portland Medical Center. My partner and I love to spend time with him, as well as our three dogs, two cats and five chickens. Gardening and taking walks around town are some of my favorite activities.
