Patient Ratings and Comments
About Our Survey

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments. These comments are the views and opinions of patients and are not endorsed by or necessarily reflect the views of Providence.

We cannot thank Dr. Stupey enough! She provided exceptional care during a very difficult pregnancy. She made time for me EVERY week and returned a call after business hours. The care we received helped us through our grieving and all of our questions/concerns were addressed.

Requested a flu shot & tetanus shot when I requested the appt. Rep on the phone said to request when I come in for the visit; requested the shots from the nurse whom brought me back to the room. Did not receive either shots.... This isn't the first time this has happened either, maybe should have a better way for patients to request/receive shots...

Dr. Stupey always listens, asks great questions, and has a good response. She also asks if there are other concerns beyong what I am there for. She is patient, kind, caring, smart, knowledgeable, and has a sense of humor. I apprecate her very much.

she seemed really rush to have a conversation with. and I was thinking to ask her question, but she seemed not really patient with me. she spent only 7 minutes exactly, I was timing the time she walked in and out of the exam room, to talk with her new patient.

I recently had an emergency admission to the ICU. I really appreciated Dr. Stupey taking the time to talk to me about that experience and to listen to my account of a very frightening event.

Dr Stupey is excellent! the only concern is that the clinics support staff is spread too thin. I've been with her for 6 years and the only problem I run into is regarding communication issues if I call. there seems to be a bit of a 'grapevine' effect between Dr and the support team. I don't encounter this very often, however, if I do it generally requires a face to face visit to get things straitened out. Again, a minor issue- overall I am happy with the clinic and absolutely grateful for having Dr Stupey's support.

Feel like if there is something slightly different or less than minor, get referred out to a specialty person. What is the point of a PCP if get referrals for everything? My problem was not solved and I am not eager to go back as I know I will get a referral to a specialty md.

[...] I made this appointment as my yearly physical which Dr [...] would do a thorough exam and breast exam. Stupey didn't even have me undress. she felt my 'stomach' over my clothes. I was with her about 15mins. I had to ask if I should get a pneumonia shot as I am 66yrs now. she did suggest I get a colorectal exam which I was going to do. when I checked in, reception said this was 'wellness' what ever that means, it isn't very thorough. [...] I think Providence is looking at the bottom line too much and not at health care. [...]
