Biography & Education

Kate Tripp manages breast cancer clinical trials for Providence Cancer Center throughout the Portland metro area.

Through established relationships with patients and physicians, oncology nursing has been my passion for the past nine years. I work strongly in our fight against cancer as well as to minimize the ill effects of current cancer treatments on patients. Working in research has given me the opportunity to not only be on the cutting edge of new therapies but also challenge my evolving nursing skills. My ultimate focus is to make significant and sustained contributions to enhance our approach to quality cancer care.

I have the deepest appreciation for the strength my patients share with me every day. Their continued commitment to science is both noble and generous. Truly, my motivation is derived from the spirit of those I work with. I feel blessed and proud to work for an institution that has made fighting cancer a priority.
