Dr. George Schultz decided to become a medical provider because he enjoys science and caring for people. Getting to know his patients and helping them navigate through their health challenges are what he enjoys most about being a provider.
“I try to make sure people get the best health care available,” he says. His philosophy of care is integrating whole-person health through healthy living and evidence-based medicine.
Dr. Schultz did his undergraduate education at Brigham Young University and his medical degree from University of Health Science in Kansas City, Mo. He completed his internal medicine residency at Tucson General Hospital in Arizona. In addition to providing primary care for his patients, Dr. Schultz has additional training in caring for individuals with HIV and provides support through all stages of the disease. He also offers consultations and treatment for individuals with Hepatitis C.
In his free time Dr. Schultz enjoys spending time with his family, running, and all the benefits of living in beautiful Southern Oregon.
