Patient Ratings and Comments
About Our Survey

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments. These comments are the views and opinions of patients and are not endorsed by or necessarily reflect the views of Providence.

Don't provide a pre checkup online assessment of your going to ask me the same things again in the appointment. don't provide a drinking questionnaire to someone you've documented as in recovery from alcohol (just ask them if still not drinking.). Automation is only effective if used properly and otherwise feels like a waste of my time.

When I asked for a refill on codeine cough medicine, her answer was an immediate no without asking why I thought I needed more. As it turned out I was much better the next day, but I had no idea at the visit that that would be the case and left being concerned about yet another night of poor (unecessarily) sleep.

I was VERY UNHAPPY with the blood draw in the lab. I told [...] that I was a tough blood draw, but she knew better! She poked BOTH arms and then my 1st arm a 2nd time after applying heat for a total of 3 sticks. I was in the lab longer than I was at the doctor's office for my physical. I am suppose to remember next time to tell her to apply heat! REALLY! If I had a choice I would not go back to that lab. I am black and blue and swollen in the vein from the 2 pokes. [...] moved the needle around in the sight which was painful and made it worse.

my provider was good, but did not know why I had chest pain. I was prescribed antibiotics for sinus infection, but after 5 days, I still had chest pain, went to urgent care, it was determined I had a asthma flair up, due to illness.

I made the appt online for a pre-op physical and some issues (depression, incontinence and ear issue). I noticed it was for 20 minutes so I called the office and explained that I needed more time as it was not just for they physical. I was assured that they would note it and I would be able to cover my issues. When Dr. Samagh came in the very first thing she said is that we couldn't talk about my other issues and my physical would take up all of our time. I explained my call to the office and she said that she didn't have the time and that would make other patients wait. One of the issues is with depression and anxiety. I filled out the questions that the nurse gave me and briefly showed them to Dr. Samagh when she ask if my depression was an emergency. Well, I'll tell you it is severe and I am seeking other medial advice. I am so unhappy with the service and will not be coming back to the Dr. I have seen for 10 years. The office staff and my Dr. let me down, very badly.

Dr. Samagh has been our doctor for 10 years. We felt right from the beginning she cared about our health and wanted to spend time with us to ask us questions and then we asked her questions. We were in much better health then and she has seen me through some very hard illness and surgery. We rely on her completely. She always refers us to specialists if she feels it is necessary.

Dr. Samagh always spends as much time as I need. She explains thing to me in language that I can understand. She never talks down to me. She never makes me feel like she is superior to me. If she were not my doctor and I knew her, I think she would stillo be someone Iwould consider a friend.

Dr Samaagh left the room without notifying us that she wont be back to us again and we expect her return and waiting her come back to the room ask for the last question. We ever visited other care provider and we noticed that they have a similarities whereby they left the patient without being informed us (NO RETURN TO THE ROOM) and we suggest it's better they check with us eg likes, DO YOU HAVE ANY LAST QUESTION FOR ME BEFORE WE END THE SESSION? we will feel more comfortable and satisfying
