Dr. Arturo Salazar became a doctor to help people live healthier lives. He chose family medicine because it involves using a wide scope of knowledge for the benefit of patients.
In his practice, Dr. Salazar partners with his patients and educates them on preventive care so they are empowered to take charge of their health. I enjoy watching patients take control of their conditions and get better," he says.
After earning his medical degree from Universidad de Monterrey in Mexico, he completed an internship and residency through IUPUI-Methodist Family Medicine Residency Program in Indianapolis. He completed a fellowship in maternal-child care through PCC Wellness at West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park, Ill.
Fluent in Spanish, Dr. Salazar was born and raised in Mexico. In his free time, he enjoys "football" (soccer).
Dr. Salazar received his medical degree from Universidad de Monterrey.
