Mitchell Ross became a doctor to use his knowledge and skills to help others. "Critical care allows me to have the greatest impact caring for the sickest children," he said.
In his practice, he emphasizes high-quality bedside care for children, communicating with and educating families on their child's condition and treatment options.
"The most enjoyable part of my work is the relationships developed with families through a difficult time in their lives. Seeing a child recover from a critical illness and helping families through that time is a very rewarding experience," said Ross.
Dr. Ross received his medical degree from Oregon Health & Science University. He completed his internship and residency at The University of Utah. He is board certified in pediatric critical care and medical toxicology. He is a fellow of the American College of Medical Toxicology and a member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine and American Academy of Clinical Toxicology.
Born and raised in Portland, Ore., Dr. Ross enjoys cycling, hiking and golfing.
