As a physician, Dr. Rosales wants each of his patients to feel that they have been treated with compassion and respect. "I treat my patients like I would want my family, or myself, to be treated," he says. "I make every effort to educate them about their conditions, their treatment options and the possible outcomes."
Dr. Rosales is board certified in general surgery. He earned his medical degree at the University of California, Los Angeles and completed his residency at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center and at Nassau County Medical Center in East Meadow, New York. He spent 18 years in private practice in Maui, Hawaii, before moving to Oregon. In addition to his medical practice in Maui, he served as chief of surgery and chief of staff at a 200-bed hospital. Dr. Rosales has also helped introduce new vascular procedures to the area.
Dr. Rosales was born in El Paso, Texas, but has lived in many places across the United States. He feels that these experiences help him to communicate with folks from all over the country. Away from his practice, he enjoys spending time with his wife and family, reading and outdoor sports.
