Biography

In his practice, Dr. Joshua Remick believes his most important role as a cardiologist is to educate his patients so they can make informed, intelligent health care decisions. "I'm a partner in their health," he says.

"I emphasize honesty and commitment with my patients," says Dr. Remick. "Heart failure is a chronic disease that requires patients to actively participate in their health care." His philosophy of care is to help patients achieve their personal health goals. Dr. Remick enjoys making a difference in the lives of his patients and earning their trust.

After earning his medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, New York, Dr. Remick completed an internship and residency at the New York University School of Medicine in New York City, where he served as chief resident. He went on to complete a cardiology fellowship at Emory School of Medicine in Atlanta, and received an additional year of training in advanced heart failure and transplantation.

Born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia, Dr. Remick is a Pacific Northwest native. In his free time, he enjoys running, hiking, and spending time with his wife and two children. Dr. Remick is also a passionate hockey fan.
