Sarah Reed, PA-C, was inspired to become a physician assistant after volunteering in a free urgent care clinic, where she realized the importance of access to primary care. "I enjoy helping my patients reach and maintain their health goals, while helping them make informed choices about their health," she says. "Working as a team alongside patients and other health care professionals is essential to providing our patients the best care they can receive."
After completing her bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Wash., Sarah earned her master's degree in physician assistant studies from Oregon Health & Science University in Portland.
Sarah was born and raised in Minnesota and lived in Tacoma for 10 years before relocating to Portland. In her free time, she enjoys long-distance running, skiing, hiking, yoga and spending time with her husband and dog.
