About Our Survey

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments.

Wasn't clear as to whether I was to call referral physician or they were to call me. I was given a handout of an old rather than that day's visit summary, so I couldn't look on it to see and had to call

I really appreciate Dr. Reay's way of interacting with me; she never seems rushed, she checks back through the file/notes for things she may not remember, she seems great about ordering the tests she thinks are needed , she responds well to my questions or requests.

recently I was very ill and my husband called Dr Reay's office on my behalf. He explained the situation and was put on hold for less than ten minutes. Dr Reay had ordered a prescription, and OTC medicine and a bit of advice for a very worried spouse. Thank you again to Dr Reay and her caring staff.

Dr. Reay is by far the best and most caring doctor I've had in my 81 years. [...] I find myself to be a bit critical of medical services. Dr. Reay leaves no room for criticism. Most importantly, she listens so she can properly diagnose the problem and she cares about her patients. Those two factors make her an excellent doctor and, again, the best I have ever had. I completely trust her and whatever she recommends.

Upon becoming Dr Reay's patient, I had several years experience of managing my diabetes (Type II) fairly successfully [...] with the help of an endocrinologist in Medford. Coming to Portland on retiring, I expected this success to be extended. I was surprised when my medications were all changed and my daily Blood sugar went wacky. [...] Now we are beginning to get back on track but I am not sure that we could not have achieved that result with less unnecessary variability.

I didn't know why I was going to this visit. I was just told to make an appt and after I did I got a call to tell me to go to the lab for blood and urine tests before my visit. At the appt, when she came in she asked if I knew why I was there and then explained what was going on and what tests that needed to be done. She also explained she didn't understand some of the reports and would have to get info from an oncologist. I liked that she admitted she didn't know and was willing to ask someone else for info.

I have had NO bad experiences. Dr. Reay continues to be the best doctor I have every had in my 80+ years. Having previously worked for a doctor, I am very critical of doctors that don't listen or pay attention to what a patient says. Dr. Reay listens and cares and I would not trade her for the world. Eventhough I am 80+ years old, I have had a very successful business career and continue to be very active in spite of my age.

I find Dr. Reay to be one of the most genuinely caring individuals I have ever had the privilege to meet. Her honesty and compassion are truly a gift to her patients. You are very fortunate to have someone like her on your staff. I cannot say enough good things about her. She listens carefully and explains things clearly. If she feels I need to see a specialist, she explains why. I have never felt that I am just a number to be shunted to the side on the way to the next patient. She is an excellent caregiver. I wish every doctor and/or health care professional I've had dealings with had her level of dedication. She is, in my opinion, the model of what caregivers should be. My hope is that she will never wish to retire so she can be my doctor forever. I am just that selfish. She is a blessing.
