About Our Survey

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments.

Dr. Reay is undoubtedly very busy, but takes the time to get my questions answered; she listens to my concerns; and has recommended other doctors when needed, and I've been satisfied with them, as well. There are not enough positive adjectives to rate Dr. Reay. She's a credit to the profession.

Dr. Reay is very knowledgeable, confident and kind. I felt that the information presented was a little overly negative, i.e. worrying about conditions that I might develop instead of viewing me as a healthy person now. I also didn't feel entirely listened to regarding health concerns that I brought up.

The doctor was late, in a hurry, and spent more time looking at the computer than interacting with me. I know it's not her fault that she is so busy, but it's very frustrating. A medication change was made, but it was not explained very clearly - we called the office later that day to ask questions, to be sure we understood the change. I really like this doctor, but she needs a lighter case load so she can attend to people the way they need it.

recently I was very ill and my husband called Dr Reay's office on my behalf. He explained the situation and was put on hold for less than ten minutes. Dr Reay had ordered a prescription, and OTC medicine and a bit of advice for a very worried spouse. Thank you again to Dr Reay and her caring staff.

Dr. Reay is by far the best and most caring doctor I've had in my 81 years. [...] I find myself to be a bit critical of medical services. Dr. Reay leaves no room for criticism. Most importantly, she listens so she can properly diagnose the problem and she cares about her patients. Those two factors make her an excellent doctor and, again, the best I have ever had. I completely trust her and whatever she recommends.

Upon becoming Dr Reay's patient, I had several years experience of managing my diabetes (Type II) fairly successfully [...] with the help of an endocrinologist in Medford. Coming to Portland on retiring, I expected this success to be extended. I was surprised when my medications were all changed and my daily Blood sugar went wacky. [...] Now we are beginning to get back on track but I am not sure that we could not have achieved that result with less unnecessary variability.

I didn't know why I was going to this visit. I was just told to make an appt and after I did I got a call to tell me to go to the lab for blood and urine tests before my visit. At the appt, when she came in she asked if I knew why I was there and then explained what was going on and what tests that needed to be done. She also explained she didn't understand some of the reports and would have to get info from an oncologist. I liked that she admitted she didn't know and was willing to ask someone else for info.
