Patient Ratings and Comments
About Our Survey

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments. These comments are the views and opinions of patients and are not endorsed by or necessarily reflect the views of Providence.

I was supposed to get an examination scheduled per recommendation from the doctor, but the scheduler said she couldn't do it because I'm "PPO". She seemed annoyed that I was confused by that statement and said "there's HMO and PPO, you're PPO". I had to ask more question to find out that they needed to reach out to my insurance first... Someonehe from the scheduler office was supposed to call ms back that week, but no-one did... I will call them myself this week (waited a little because of the holiday). I was just rather bothered by that interaction.

This doctor was arrogant, curt and was downright rude to me. I have a master's degree and am educated too. He treated me like I was ignorant.

Care provider was disinterested - dismissive - it took over an hour and 1/2 before my labs were taken - was supposed to take 15 minutes.

Good physician, knows my problems, always replies to my concerns, is very confidence giving, takes everything in my list of health problems (aside from the cardio lot) into consideration, is humourous, at times speaks a bit too quickly but always slows down when I remark on this. i like him a lot, AS DOES MY WIFE.

Appreciate Dr. Rahimtoola is not quick to recommend surgery. Instead he encourages healthy habits - exercise. He also is prompt responding to emails.

He was very matter of fact and explained everything. This was the first time I had ever been to him, but he had reviewed my chart before he came in and was very informed about all my medical conditions. He explained all medicine changes and the reasons for them. He listened to my concerns.
