Biography & Education

Sreedevi Pitta, M.D., was inspired to become a physician by two incidents from her childhood – her father suddenly losing his eyesight and her grandfather being diagnosed with liver cancer. “I was impressed by the dedication and perseverance of the doctors who treated them,” she says. “This inspired me to pursue medicine so I could help others during their difficult times.”

Board-certified in family medicine, Dr. Pitta earned her medical degree from Kurnool Medical College in India and completed her residency at Family Medicine Spokane. She chose to practice family medicine so she could provide care to all members of a family, regardless of gender, age or type of medical problem.

Dr. Pitta, who was born and raised in India, is married and has a son. Besides spending time with her family, she enjoys traveling abroad, watching movies and gardening. She speaks Telugu and Hindi fluently.

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments.

Dr Pitta, her assistant and the office staff were all professional and interested in providing compassionate care.

I am a health care professional and she threatsme as such.

It seems that Dr. Pitta's communication has improved over the last year. I have also seen her physician's assistant, [...]. Also very good.

My doctor listens to what I have to say and makes the appropriate referral or recommendations relating/surrounding a certain issue/concern. She and her staff are courteous, sensitive and respectful. I have referred others to this office and my doctor.

I hope I don't have to see Dr. Pitta agaib

Dr cares.

very good experience

Dr Pitta has been my primary care physician for several years and she always listens and empathizes Love her!

Dr. Pitta is an excellent care provider. I have recommended her to my husband, who now sees her.

she has always been responsive to my medical needs & treats me like a medical college.

Dr. [...] is my usual provider, and his care is excellent. Dr. Pitta, on the other hand, was a big disappointment.

She's has been a good doctor with me.

Really enjoy seeing Dr. Peeta, very good patient centered care, attentive listener.

the doctor gave me information on some rehabilitation exercises; however, I did not get a visit summary, so I am not sure if I was referred to physical therapy or what I am supposed to do netxt to manage my condition.

Dr Pitta is an excellent understanding doctor, she always listens to my concerns and gives very good advise!

I have only good things to say about Dr. Pitta and her assistant, [...]. During my dianogis and treatment of breast cancer, whenever I needed a new specialist, all I had to do was call and [...] was on it immediately. I have great appreciation for both of these individuals.

While the results were quickly put online for me to view, I had no follow-up call to go over the results. I had four pages of lab results and no explanation whatsoever what it meant. There is no personal touch. I'm very disappointed with the whole thing and because it's not the first time this has happened, I'm changing doctors. [...]

I have always had great care with Dr. Pita.

[...] happy with my provider...

My provider can converse with me like a friend therefore it was easy for me to open up and feel comfortable with any topic.

Primary doctor is easily focus on pointing fingers on the eye doctor to fix my vision medical problems instead of asking how I feeling during my headaches pains on a daily basis and [...] both doctors can't communicate and work as a team. I will be looking for another provider. [...] She did most of the talking and basically telling to take the meds she wants me to use and a good bye. [...] The medical assistance and staff were all welcoming and caring. I don't have any issues with them. Maybe my primary provider had a bad day but that day was our first awful experience. I would want someone to listen to me and help me when needed. [...]

I am not sure if it was the language barrier, or a lack of education but she did not seem to understand a lot of what I was saying, or she wasn't listening. I had to repeat myself several times regarding one thing, and in the end she still put it on my chart/medical record wrong.

I've been happy with the providers at this clinic. [...]

I have recommend Dr. Pitta to several friends.

I really trust Dr. Pitta with any needs I have for medical care. She never acts in a hurry, but always listens to any concerns I have, whether physical or mental...a very good listener, much appreciated.

Provider is awesome. She explained all my questions. Even gave a print out's for my questions. All good.

I always receive great care and concern when I go to the doctor. Very satisfied with her.

Great "bedside manner". Easy to talk to regarding health matters.

Some health questions I took time to answer in the welcoming questionnaire were not brought up in the visit. Also, not many, probing, general wellness questions were asked during visit - I had forgotten to mention my back & shoulder pains that's been bugging me for weeks.....
