Biography
Dr. Petersen graduated from University of Oregon and went on to complete his medical degree at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU), where he also completed his internship and residency. He later finished his cardiology fellowship at the University of Southern California. Dr. Petersen’s primary focus at Providence Heart Clinic at The Oregon Clinic Gateway is implantation of cardiac electrical devices (electrophysiology) and general cardiology. He is board certified in cardiology and internal medicine. Dr. Petersen is also a member of the Multnomah Medical Society and the American College of Cardiology.

Very good experiences EXCEPT the appointments scheduling , I mean it is difficult to see my provider at a time am in need for him , I have to wait at least 4 weeks to six weeks to see my cardiologist [...]

Dr. Petersen made me feel at ease and got me started on a heart monitor, called me and then the ER to get me quickly admitted and scheduled for a pacemaker. Thank you Dr. Petersen.
