Biography

As a medical provider, David Partch, PA-C, believes that education is power. "Teaching patients about their condition provides them with the tools to manage their health," says David. "The ability to listen to patients is the single most powerful tool a provider has."

David chose the medical field for the opportunity to make an impact on people's lives and to serve as a health advocate. "What I enjoy most about about being a physician assistant is seeing my patients benefit from taking an interest in their own health," he said.

After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Warner Pacific College in Portland, Ore., David completed his master's degree in physician assistant studies from Pacific University in Forest Grove, Ore. He is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

In his free time, David enjoys running, cycling, and spending time with his wife and son.

About Our Survey

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments.

The PA and Dr [...] are fantastic providers. They know how to get to the source of the problem and what is in my best interests as their patient.

On most recent visit, provider misdiagnosed my condition [...]. Provider also ordered no lab tests. On my previous visit with the provider, the provider also did not order lab tests. [...] He was super friendly, but I don't feel he was knowledgeable enough.

[...] I was told I was going to be seeing Dr [...] but when I arrived for my appointment I was told I had an appointment with David, her PA. I had arrived early for my appointment, but he did not enter the exam room til 30 minutes after the scheduled appointment time. I explained to him that I had expected to see Dr [...] and was hoping to get to know her better as my PCP. Further I told him about some current financial concerns and that I cannot currently afford to make copays for multiple visits/ frequent specialist visits because I am on a very limited budget at this time. I asked for refills of my Rx which perviously was given with multiple refills. He gave me one Rx refill and told me to make an appointment with Dr [...] in 2 weeks. I felt like he did not listen to what I had just said. [...] willing to give this office one more chance [...]

Mr. Partch is not my usual provider, but I was scheduled to see him with a problem that developed while I was in the process of trying to pass a kidney stone. He was attentive, thorough, professional, and compassionate.

I find the wait time to see my regular care provider inexcusably LONG! I prefer to see my Dr. (that's why I go to her) It shouldn't take over a month to see her when I actually have a health issue. I have nothing against David, he did wonderfully, but as a practicing RN [...] I expect to see My Doctor at some point. [...] This makes me wonder about finding a new clinic! I realise this is a business-but people expect to see their own Drs when they're sick...that's kindda the idea behind having an est relationship with your Dr.
