About Our Survey

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments.

my visit was for a rash that developed on my arms and legs but the appointment was 5 weeks from the time I scheduled it. Rash disappeared. However Dr Obidiah gave me a thorough exam for the rash and a full skin check as I am very fair skinned. I appreicated that.

took a guess on skin problem on first visit. wish he would have took a biopsy of skin problem to know exactly what the problem was instead of guessing.

I waited in the office for 25 minutes after my appointment time. I was almost late to work and when I went to cancel and they pulled me back the assistant and the doctor was extremely extremely rude. Poor bedside manner and instead of explaining, he lectured me for 10 minutes. I was really disappointed in the whole overall care. I really appreciated the front desk staff. They were very nice, everyone else not so much. It makes me really not want to comeback which is unfortunate.

I was told my appointment was at 9:30 am, and to arrive 15 min early. At 9:45 I approached the desk and was told my appointment was for 9:45. When I asked why I was told to arrive 15 min early I was told so I could complete paper work which had not been given me on my arrival. I was called in to see the Dr. shortly after this exchange at the desk.

I like the provider, but the cost related to dermatology seems very high in proportion to the time spent with me and clinical services provided.

Dr. Obadiah is the dermatologist I began seeing about a year and a half ago. He was very thorough and persistent in trying to figure out how to help a mysterious condition I had at the time, which he was able to do. I recently saw him to check on something else. I feel he is very knowledgeable and direct.

Dr. Obediah is an excellent doctor! Having had skin cancer before, I was full of anxiety with a list of questions. He gently calmed me down and got me to focus on one concern at a time. He nicely answered all my questions and he was very kind and friendly. His nurse and secretaries were also very helpful. I was very please with the help I received and the great way that I was treated. [...]

Dr. Obadiah is a great provider. The only problem is that it took a couple of days to get an answer to what I thought was a simple question. The assistant who was returning my call didn't seem to understand what the question was and had to call back a couple of times to clarify.

Dr. Obdiah is excellent. He is efficient, thorough and explains in detail what he is going to do as far as a biopsy is concerned. i have had 3 skin cancers he has removed, and did an excellent job from beginning to end. Would not go to another Dermo as long as he is at Providence.

I'm an RN and I was impressed by Dr. Obadiah's professional demeanor, and his willingness to take the time needed to do a full assessment, etc, even though I knew the office was behind schedule/swamped (the day before a holiday). He answered all my miscellaneous questions fully and respectfully.

I went in for acne, Dr never even looked over my face and said women in their 30s get acne around this chin and cheeks and with me trying to get pregnant there wasn't much that could be done, named things that he could do for me if I wasn't trying to get pregnant but that he guess he could prescribe topical med but it may not work well. I felt rush, like because I am trying to get pregnant that he was put out that I was there. They should ask that question when scheduling and not waste the Dr time if there isn't anything that can really be done.

Treatment was started late due to prescription being sent to long term medicine provider, rather than a local pharmacy. Medicare requirements and mail order matters delayed sending of medication - until I cancelled and requested med from local pharmacy.

I called regarding an infection in a mole-receptionist was to check if they could double book me for an appointment and no one called me back to confirm or deny that I could get an appointment in a reasonable time frame. I ended up seeing my PCP first and then following up w/dermatology for mole removal.
