Patient Ratings and Comments
About Our Survey

A provider’s star rating is based on a Press Ganey Patient Satisfaction Survey. In this survey, taken after an office visit, patients answer a series of standardized questions and have the opportunity to provide custom comments. Providence strips identifying information from comments so they can be shared without jeopardizing confidentiality or patient privacy.

Have ongoing skin cancer and clinic has been very responsive to my, too often, needs.

Treatment was started late due to prescription being sent to long term medicine provider, rather than a local pharmacy. Medicare requirements and mail order matters delayed sending of medication - until I cancelled and requested med from local pharmacy.

First time I have seen Dr. Obadiah. Will gladly return in a year for a check-up and recommended him to my husband.

I called regarding an infection in a mole-receptionist was to check if they could double book me for an appointment and no one called me back to confirm or deny that I could get an appointment in a reasonable time frame. I ended up seeing my PCP first and then following up w/dermatology for mole removal.

The only beef with you all is when I call I have to wait, no matter what time of day I call to get a someone on the phone. Then when I get someone I'm on hold again........

Pleased with Dr.Obadiah's skin exam & quick results on mole removal&biopsy info. I will have skin surgery next week. He sympathized with me about the difficulty of playing golf.

It was a yearly follow-up with dermatologist. Dr was thorough, careful to look closely at areas that I had new concerns about and made sure past problem areas had healed well and no longer a problem. His nursing assistant was awesome too.

My Dr. was playing catch up as my appointment was late afternoon. He had several patients and phone calls from other doctors. You guys should give him an extra day off once in a while. You are running him ragged.

I don't know how to find a primary care physician in the Providence system who gives a thorough physical exam like this dermatologist. An internist or family partitioner who uses palpates and gives physical rather than limit practice to triage.

Can hear all the employees laughing and being loud including my provider while I wait in the room for my provider for over 7mins.

I felt like Dr. Obediah was a bit rushed. I would have preferred if he had sat down and asked me questions about the history of the issue I went to see him for. His responses came across as knowledgeable, but almost dismissive at the same time.

Dr. Obediah was a great for the simple procedure I had done. He made sure I understood the costs associated with the procedure and set expectations for results after the procedure.

I was seen for a checkup that lasted maybe 10 minutes and saw the chart marked for 1/2 hour. I thinks that's over billing?

The doctor gave me a diagnosis of a condition, and then did not give me any further information about what this condition was or how to treat it. He told me to "use lotion."

I need to learn how to ask more specific questions. I feel the provider could be more descriptive about what he's doing. For example, I know what a "punch" biopsy is because my father had one performed on his head and the Kaiser physician was very descriptive about the procedure/purpose etc. Dr. Obadiah wasn't; actually didn't describe what "punch" meant at all. That could be very frightening to someone who doesn't know what's going on. I received a call that it is a benign growth. That's good news but I'm left wondering what does this really mean?

Took quite a long time to get in for routine appointment - i.e., about 4 week wait.
