Patient Ratings and Comments
About Our Survey

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments. These comments are the views and opinions of patients and are not endorsed by or necessarily reflect the views of Providence.

He [...] doesn't explain things like tell you why we're doing all these tests and my brothers condition had nothing to do with me because it's a genetic disorder and both parents have to have the genetic marker for the person to get it and we do not have the same parents so it does not pertain to me and he wouldn't listen to me so I'm not going back

Provider was very kind, soft spoken, and very observant of patient-- Felt I needed to be asked more questions about my concerns that were immediate. Before starting with patient, give a little synopsis of what is going to happen or possibly happen and what will come next..

not just this doctor - but all my Providence providers are only interested in long term symptom management and not investigating root causes. keeping me on meds and placating me with more "check-ins" does not help. I'm headed to a naturopath now who is doing all kinds of testing to figure it out for good.

Dr Nilaver is a very good doctor. He listens, which a lot no longer do. He took time with me and did a thorough exam. He also had seen my husband previously and we liked him immediately.

My physician made me feel comfortable, he explained the results of my MRI very clearly and explained what could be done to help.

I was told that I need to see this doctor every 3 months or my prescription would not be filled, to me it sounded like shame on you if you didn't make the next visit. I feel like my appointment when I do see him ionlys only the minimum amount of time like 15 minuets in and out.

11/12/2016
The doctor was wonderful. My only issue is that I was told, as I was leaving, that they would call me and tell me when my CT scans were to be scheduled. 9 days passed before I called and was told that they don't do that. So my medical test was postponed more than a week.

They did not return my record of procedures I have had, & w/o checking w/me, the records were shredded. My only copies.

[...] has [...] Dementia - family has been told he is in advanced stages - What does that mean? What should we expect? What's going to happen? We are all in a fog and can't seem to get any answers - he is being treated by a psychologist - all they want to do is "drug" him up with very expensive medication not knowing if it will work or not - very frustrating and financially draining.

Patient, calm, great listener, care & compassion. An amazing physician. Called me at home to explain blood test results.

09/28/2016
I got almost no information from this visit. Dr. Nilaver did not explain the rationale behind his diagnosis, did not adequately address my concerns and questions, and and did not offer any recommendations for care or treatment beyond an offer of a prescription drug.

Nilaver knows my condition and is handling it satisfactorily.

09/01/2016
After 10 days I am still waiting for a call from the pain management specialist to whom I was referred by Dr. Nilaver. Don't know what the problem is but this is very poor response by the specialist provider; I don't think t his is Dr Nilaver's fault.

Dr Nalavir took the time I needed to understand my condition(s) and how other doctor's treatments would or would not help the disorder he is treating me for. He is soft-spoken, attentive and courteous.
