In her practice, Dr. Marianne Morris believes her most important role as a physician is to listen to her patients and use that information to provide the best possible care. "There are so many roles we take as medical providers, and each unique situation requires a different role," she says.
Dr. Morris was inspired to become an OB/GYN after descending from a long line of nurses in her family. "It gives me great satisfaction knowing I've made a difference in someone's life," says Dr. Morris, "whether it's delivering a new baby or simply being a supportive listener during a major life transition."
After earning her medical degree from Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, Dr. Morris completed her internship and residency at the University of Missouri in Columbia. She is board certified by the American Board of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
Born and raised in Missouri, Dr. Morris traveled to Oregon by Greyhound bus at age 18. She has traveled by bicycle through Baja California and Mexico. In her spare time, Dr. Morris enjoys running, hiking, biking, gardening and reading.
