Dr. Mehta completed his internal medicine residency at Harvard University in 2006, and was awarded resident of the year.
Following his residency, he worked as a hospitalist at Providence Medford Medical Center for four years and was the Chairman of the Credentialing Committee as well as a member of Medical Executive Committee.
Dr. Mehta eventually pursued a fellowship in cardiology at Oregon Health and Science University and was the Chief Cardiology Fellow during his final year.
Dr. Mehta is well published and has presented at many regional and national conferences. He is also the author of "The Hosptalist Manual," a textbook on evidence-based hospital medicine.
Dr. Mehta is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular medicine, echocardiography and nuclear cardiology.
